Includes observations of children and interviews of adults and youth.PREREQUISITES: PSY 2200GENERAL COURSE CONTENT: Developmental psychology is a five-hour course designed to promote students' understanding of the process by which people become someone different while remaining in many aspects the same. This process, called human development, exposes our inherited structures to a lifetime of experiences. Our task in this course is to gain a better understanding of human development by achieving the course objectives:COURSE OBJECTIVES:1. Know the important aspects of developmental research and some of the theoretical explanations of the developmental process.2.
