Persuasionpro death penalty

A thirty five year old white male kidnaps and rapes two sisters, one eight years old and the other eleven. The man then brutally murders the two helpless children; letting one watch as the other one was killed. He then leaves the bloody and beaten bodies, of the innocent sisters, in the neighborhood playground. Does this man deserve to die? The death penalty is a necessary evil that has a positive effect on society today. The death penalty should be sought in cases that carry the death penalty as a form of punishment because retribution should be taken for the heinous crimes that are committed, people that commit crime or kill will do it again, and the death penalty deters crime. There are controversial issues over the death penalty and extremists from both sides widely express their opinions. Such issues include the chance of an innocent person being put to death, the death penalty being a racist form of punishment, and the cost of the death penalty versus life imprisonment. Retribution should be taken for the violent crimes that are committed. Justice means that criminals get what they deserve. The punishment must fit the crime.The best support documentation for this point of view comes directly from the word of God; where, in the Old Testament, the death penalty was required for a wide range of offenses, both civil and religious. “And he that killeth any man shall surely be put to death. And he that killeth a beast shall make it good; beast for beast. And if a man cause a blemish in his neighbour; as he hath done, so shall it be done to him; breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: as he hath caused a blemish in man, so shall it be done to him again. And he that killeth a beast, he shall restore it: and he that killeth a man, he shall be put to death” (Leviticus 24:17-21).“He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. ...
