Why it is Easier to be a Man For many years women have been discriminated in the workplace, in the home, and in society in general. For this reason, it is easier and moreacceptable to be of the male race. Men have it easier in society, at work, andduring life as a whole.First of all, women are more susceptible to discrimination and crime. In statistics from the U.S. Department of Justice, women, especially teenagegirls, are the among the most frequent victims of sexual assault. Men aremuch less often subject to such crimes and therefore have it much easier. Also, women are at a disadvantage when it comes to trouble. During puberty, females undergo maturation of the body and mindat a much faster rate than guys. This causes much stress that males would nothave to go through until later on in life when they are able to handle it. Women also have the burden of bearing children and taking care of them. The women are usually expected to cook and clean at the same time asraising the kids. This makes the stress level of a female higher than that of aman.
