SHIAWASSEE COUNTY COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH Shiawassee County Community Mental Health (SCCMH) is an agency that provides various services to the people of Shiawassee County Michigan. This service is available to any person in Shiawassee County 24 hours a day 7days a week. This service is available by calling (989) 723-6791 or (800) 622-4514. By calling this number you will access the after hours answering service, which is staffed by social workers trained in crisis intervention. If the situation is of which the social worker feels they need more assistance they will contact a member of SCCMH’s Crisis Intervention Team.Psychiatric Hospital Services. This service requires a face to face meeting with SCCMH staff to determine the plan of care. This meeting can take place at the SCCMH Access Center or the Emergency Room at Owosso Memorial Healthcare. SCCMH staff is authorized to provide Psychiatric Services to adults and children. A pre-admission assessment will be made as convenient as possible for anyone needing this care.Housing Services.
