Mr Baseball

I did my report on a not so famous baseball player of the mid 1900s. He may not have been so famous, but he was very smart and he lived a very interesting life.In the book Mr. Baseball it told the story of Branch Rickey. In the book I read about how whenever Branch went to a new team he made a very huge impact. Usually when he went to a new team he turned the whole team around to a winning team just like he did on the Yankees. Branch had so many good and bad memories, thats why I chose my poem to be about memories. The reason I chose The Memory by Robert Hillyer was it showed in the poem and the book that they where alike. In The Memory it told a story and there where many good times and bad times just like how it was for Branch. In The Memory it talked about skipping rocks across the water and it also talked about war. This was just like the book Mr. Baseball, good times and bad times ilife. The main reason I picked the poem with this book was at the end of the poem just like the end of the book it reflected on memories and how much they really all mean to us.I thought this book Mr. Baseball and the poem The Memory where both very good and showed how much alike the book and the poem was....
