The book Hindenburgh 1937, written by Cameron Dokey, shows the reader a story of fear and of true love that will never die. The novel begins in Frankfurt Germany, in late April of 1937. Here we meet a sixteen year old girl, Anna Becker, who has just lost her grandfather and believes that his dying wish was for her to take a trip on the airship the Hindenburgh, this was a trip that they were to take together. As the story progresses the reader learns that this is not her grandfathers wish. Since Anna's grandfather has died and Anna would have to live with her brother, who was a Nazi in the German army, Anna runs away because she knows that Kurt her brother would forbid her from going on the trip. Anna also knows that if she were to go with Kurt to Berlin," he would marry her off to advance his own Nazi career". When Anna runs awayand gets to the checkpoints before the airfield she realizes that people will be suspicious of a young lady traveling alone. So Anna devises a plan, she found a young man who was traveling alone and she approached him and pretended to be his aquaintance. The man, Erik Peterson, at first is confused by what Anna is doing, but then he understands and goes along with Anna. Also Anna at the checkpoint Anna learns that Karl Mueller, a young man who she had been in love with is also traveling on the airship. Karl had been in love with Annaand we later learn that he still was in love with her. Anna does not know that Karl loves her, since he left her one day with no explanation of where or why he was going. On the trip Erik tells Anna that Karl is a spy for the Nazi's and that she should becareful of him. By the end of the book we learn that Erik is actually is a terrorist and Karl is working with the zepplin company, trying to stop a terrorist attack on the ship.
