The S&P Gaming, Lottery & Parimutuel Companies Indexgained 6.2%, versus a 5.8% decline for the S&P 1500 index. In 2000, the industry indexgained 26.5% versus an 8% decline for the S&P 1500. According to S&P’S stock report,Anchor Gaming expects a slowdown in the amount of new capacity debuting, both thereand in some other major markets.
