This book is about a girl named Annie De Leuuw and her Jewish family they face many problems because there Jewish. She has two sisters her mom usually has headaches. They live in a town called Winterswick the girl goes to a regular school but since what happened in the war and there Jewish so now they make fun of her and treat her bad like talk about them because there Jewish.
