The Three Musketeers is a wonderful story mixed with romance and action. It is about one young man’s journey from boyhood to manhood. On this quest he ironically befriends three of the former musketeers. D’Artagnan , starts his voyage in the provinces of France hoping to make his way to Paris.D’artagnan leaves his home to travel to France and make a fortune. His father gives him three parting gifts one of them being a letter to Monsieur De Treville. At his first stop, in the town of Meung, the hot-headed d'Artagnan gets into a fight with a distinguished-looking gentlemen who ridicules him because of his mount. D'Artagnan is beaten unconscious by a group of the gentleman's lackeys. When he comes to, he sees the gentleman talking to a beautiful, fair woman in a carriage whom he calls "Milady" just as the two of them are riding off. He prepares himself to leave the town, but finds that the gentleman has stolen his letter of introduction to M. de Treville. Upset by the loss of his letter he continues his excursion to M. De Treville’s home.When he reaches the house he is asked to go see M. De Treville, but before the two can speak Aramis and Porthos are called into the room. Athos enters late but soon collapses of his sever wounds. After Athos had been tended to D’artagnan is questioned by M. De Treville who at first suspects him of being a spy sent by the Cardinal. D’artagnan sees the man from Meung and darts after him to challenge the man.Soon after D'Artagnan chases after the man he crashes into Athos who had just been released from the doctors care. The two men let anger get the better of them and set a duel for noon of that day. D'Artagnan cannot find his target anywhere but does see Aramis and approaches him. Aramis is in a conversation with some other men at the time and D'Artagnan accidently exposes Aramis’s adulteress relationship with a marrie woman. Aramis then challenges D'Ar...
