Bethan, a personnel officer in a big firm, is occupied with the hiring of new staff, including doing the interviews. Parker Swells is one of the applicants.Bethan is not different from many other girls. She is described as good-hearted girl, not unintelligent, but somewhat naive. And this is what Parker is using.Bethan has learned a lot of theory about what should be done when you try to find the best “corporate man or woman” for the firm, she has also taken classes in handwriting analyses etc. But she is not prepared for the “deliberate liar”, meeting Parker is the first time she finds out that this can happen (and that it might have happened many times before, without her knowing it!). Bethan really believes in her interviews, and that they can reveal the persons personality and if he or she is the right one for the firm.Parker Swells is a quite different type. You are able to give a picture of your self, just as you assume the person wants you to bee. Of course this is not possible for very long time, when they learn to know you better they will probably reveal your lies, but perhaps you can pretend just long enough to get the job – or get to bed with the lady - or whatever your plan is!When Bethan finds out that his story about the duck was a lie she is shocked, but it al...
