The bible has influenced many parts of our society. Some religions are based on the Christian bible. For example, Hinduism was greatly influenced by the many believes that can be found on the bible. Hinduism has adapted the bible into their own way of thinking. Their believes are similar to the bible, but not in such a way that they are identical. The bible mentions God as the one and only savior. Hinduism is also composed of God, but instead of one God, their religion is made up of numerous Gods. Each God specifies to aid in one area of society. If someone needs aid with physical strength , then they pray to the God that is responsible in that area. The bible mentions that there is one God, the one and only that created everything we know. On the other hand, Hinduism has two superior Gods, Shiva and Vishnu.Another epic that is extremely similar to the bible was the Kaurav family. Their decedents came to rule the empire after many difficulties. The bibles version of that story was Abrahams decedents. Just like the Kaurav family, Abrahams decedents gained power over an empire with the aid of God. The Christian bible is divided into sixty-six parts, the Old Testament has thirty-nine books and the New Testament is composed of twenty-seven books. Hinduism also has a book similar to the bible. Their bible is called Veda. Its composed of 4 books in each contains many epics that are very similar to the bible.The Law Code of Manu is an imitation of the Ten Commandments. The Law Code of Manu was written by one of their many Gods, it described the Gods and the requirements expected of people. It explained the many Gods that were adored by the people. It also explained what people were to do, how females were to act, how man was to respect other....
