The book I read Geronmo, it was a very detailed account of Geronmos life expereinces by Fredirk W. Turner the third. Fredirk interview Geronmo personaly to get accurate information on Geronmos life. In the book Geronmo talked about the persucution of his people by the whites. His confrentation with the United States government to regain his homeland in Arizona. His confrentations with the U.S. Army. They also had confretations with the Mexicans. At the end of all this fighting he signed a treaty to stop the loss of life among his people. At the near end of his life, Geronmo asked for his people to be allowed to return to their homeland in Arizona. Geronmo would never see this happen in his lifetime. He died in February 17, 1909 ,and was buried at Fort Sill, Oklahoma....
